If a metro experience is also on your agenda, Ogden is the nearest bustling town to Snowbasin Resort. It reflects a rugged, rustic, yet cool urban vibe. The town’s history has run the full gamut from a trading fort to bustling metropolitan railway hub, and landed into a high adventure attraction as it is now a town full of outdoor adventurists, creative artists, and independent businesses. Ogden’s rich mountain to metro personality derives from a unique balance of vibrant shopping, delicious dining and exciting nightlife with backyard access to year-round, heart-pounding outdoor recreation and the majestic beauty of the Wasatch Mountain Range. Historic 25th Street has many revived buildings such as Alleged, which is a “brothel turned bar” with cocktails that are named after old Ogden legends and gangsters, telling a gritty story of the town’s colorful history.
